Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

Went to the cinema Biopalatset tonight and watched “Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy”. It’s a very well done agent movie based on the book with same title (written by John Le Carré). The movie is written by David Brain and directed by Tomas Alfredson. It takes place in the early 1970s during the Cold War and is about the British Intelligence (MI6 – Control) and an operation in Budapest, Hungary that goes badly wrong. The operation was an attempt to find out who the possible mole (Russian agent) in the Control is. Smiley, is asked to investigate who the mole is…

I highly recommend you to watch this movie as it’s very well done. It’s more of a drama movie than an action one (thus, not a James Bond type of movie), and you have to remember all the details throughout the movie to get the full picture.

Stormy weather on the lovely skerry island Tjörn

Have had a great day today visiting Helén Engblom at the lovely skerry island Tjörn!! (see the pictures).

Just loved the weather today. Standing on the rocks, feeling the whipping ice cold winds making me almost fly away, hearing the surge high waves. It all makes me almost cry that I just have to sail away to the mighty oceans!!!

A big dream of my is becoming a sailing explorer visiting islands around the globe.

Halloween and Birthday Celebration

This weekend, I have visited my family in Löddeköpinge, celebrating halloween and my 31th birthday.

I love visit the sweet poodle Leo, since he always learn new stuff every time I visit him. This time, he managed to learn to, and enjoy, standing with all four feets on my arm (like Ulrik used to do). Leo is 5 years old now, but I remember him when he was a puppy:

(Leo and Ulrik September 4, 2006)

Leo is the grey poddle, and Ulrik is the white one.
Cute, aren’t they?

Apart from meeting my family, I have also read Isabella Löwengrip‘s book Egoboost! – Blondinbellas överlevnadsguide för unga tjejer

In the book, Isabella tells us about her life as a young girl in Sweden, why and how she developed strategies for surviving and be strong, and advices other young girls how to survive and develop strong and independent egos.

The book is easily read, and I recommend every young woman to read it and get inspired.

Right now, I am viewing TWiT Live – This Week in Tech Episode 325 at http://live.twit.tv/
